Hva er semesteravgiften?

The semester fee is paid by students at educational institutions affiliated with Sit. The amount of the semester fee and its allocation are determined by the Welfare Assembly. The funds are distributed to welfare services that benefit students in Gjøvik, Ålesund, and Trondheim.

The last time the semester fee was increased was in 2021 when it went up from 580 kroner to 600 kroner. With approximately 46,500 students, this currently amounts to around 55 million kroner annually.

Hvorfor økte man semesteravgiften sist?

  • More focus on preventive measures for student health, such as Sit Council and Sit Psychosocial.

  • Financial agreement for new construction at Samfundet.
